Jackfruit seed sweet gruel

Ingredients

  • Jackfruit seed 10
  • milk 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 2 tsp
  • grated coconut 2 tsp
  • salt a pinch

Method

  1. Peel the skin of the jackfruit seed and cut it into small pieces
  2. Put oil in a pan add the jackfruit seed and salt and fry it
  3. Then add the fried jackfruit, grated coconut and water in a mixie and grind them into a smooth paste
  4. Put the mixture in a heavy bottom pan and add the ground item. sugar and milk and allow it to boil
  5. Serve hot.

Bamboo rice payasam

Ingredients

  • bamboo rice 1/4 cup
  • milk 4 cup
  • grated jaggery 1/2 cup
  • ghee 2 tsp
  • dried grapes and cashew few
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

Method

  1. Wash the rice and soak in water for four hours
  2. Then add in mixie along with water and grind it into a coarse mixture
  3. Boil milk to half its level
  4. In a heavy bottom vessel add the ground mixture along with water and boil it well
  5. In a pan heat the ghee and fry the cashew and grapes to golden color and remove
  6. Then in the same ghee add the grated coconut and fry it to golden color
  7. In the boiled rice batter add milk, jaggery powder, grated coconut, cashew and dried grapes.
  8. Allow it to boil then add the cardamom powder  and remove
  9. Serve hot or cold

Black jamoon lassi

Ingredients

  • black jamoon 10
  • pasteurized curd 1/4 ltr
  • jeera powder 1/4 tsp
  • bhudhina and salt as required

Method

  1. Wash the jamoon and remove the skin and take the fleshy portion separately
  2. Along with this add budhina, salt jeera powder, and curd
  3. Grind the mixture in a mixie.
  4. Remove and serve chill

Pomegranate apple juice

Ingredients

  • Pomegranate seeds 2 cup
  • red apple 2

Method

  1. Peel the apple and grate it
  2. Add the pomegranate seeds along with the apple
  3. Grind both this with water in a mixie
  4. Filter the mixture
  5. Add sugar and mix well
  6. Serve cold in glasses
